As an AmeriCorps/VISTA member serving at CFH and GLHC, members will assist in fund development, develop outreach and marketing campaigns, grow our social media presence, and recruit volunteers for both agencies. The Center for Financial Health is looking for a qualified intern to join our nonprofit team. Our organization delivers quality coaching, counseling, and adult education on the topics of housing and finance in the Lansing and surrounding areas. This intern should be prepared to work in a fast-paced team environment, and will finish the internship having gained broad experience in various aspects of delivering financial education to adult learners.
Responsibilities
• Assist facilitation of group workshops on the topics of money and housing.
• Assist in the creation of signage, circulars, e-mail campaigns, on line promotion, etc.
• Assist in creation of course workbooks
• Seek and analyze competitor programming
• Enter contact information into contact management systems
