MSHDA helps sustain and create quality, affordable housing that promotes state-wide economic development.

Step Forward Michigan

The Step Forward program enables Michigan residents, who are facing financial hardship, to access funds to prevent home foreclosure. Also known as the Hardest Hit program, Step Forward is run by MSHDA. They offer four different programs which provide assistance to struggling homeowners.

HUD addresses housing concerns on a national basis and helps coordinate efforts to increase housing availability.

Ingham County Treasurer's Office

The Ingham County Treasurer's Office works closely with the Center to improve residency within the county and raise awareness about property taxes.

Asset Independence Coalition of Mid Michigan

The AIC assists low to moderate income individuals with independently managing their financial assets. In addition, they also offer free tax preparation to qualified persons.

The Financial Empowerment Center of Lansing offers a comprehensive array of free financial services. They provide one on one counseling that is specifically tailored to your particular financial goals.
