Center for Financial Health offers a wide range of programs and services to meet the needs of those affected through homeownership. We help them and their families by providing programs, information and resources to assist in their journey. We also help by raising awareness through public outreach and media.
Our services are FREE to clients and participates, but the information and tools we provide are invaluable.
Programs & Services
We are committed to strengthening Michigan communities through homeownership and are focused on our mission to help families and individuals build assets through homeownership by providing education, pre-purchase counseling and affordable financing services, with an empahsis on serving low-to-moderate income households.
We are dedicated to helping Michigan home owners stay in their homes. Our HUD and MSHDA-approved housing counslors help home owners reduce foreclosure effects by meeting one-on-one with clients to determine the best path to either resolve a foreclosure or mitigate the effects of a foreclosure. Counseling also offers assistance in dealing with lenders, submitting requests for loan modifications and explaining how to avoid predatory lending.
Managing your money and your credit can sometimes feel like a full time job and balancing that with your busy life can be stressful. CFH offers tips and tricks to successful money management and everything you need to know to manage your personal finances and improve your credit to help you realize the dream of homeownership.
CFH's committment to deliver comprehensive training, education and counseling services doesn't end in the office. As a collaborator, we work jointly with partners and stakeholders in our community to increase outreach to Michigan neighborhoods.
